....the room...
Before
a wonderful group of talented people are here for RANGER 'U'. Here Tim is giving them the morning class on Perfect Pearls & embossing.
and teaching them (amongst many other things) how to use Perfect Pearls with Glossy Accents and comb through it
and showing them what Holographic Embossing powder can do when it's heated to different stages.
Breaking for delicious deli lunch
Then....I came along for an afternoon of 'MELT ART MANIA"
It was just wonderful to have students who came from as far away as Taiwan. Peggy Lee (L) and Laura Liu brought me a box of the most delicious pineapple cakes....which The Lenster and I totally enjoyed with evening tea.
our goal in class was to make and complete an IKEA mirror frame covered in all things relating to UTEE and beeswax....a lot of different projects
I'll take you though some of our day in pictures. Our kits.
Learning 'Faux Soldering' using Clear UTEE and 'To Dye For' heat stable inks.
Making a mold with ' Mold n Pour '
learning to do the 'Cloisonne' technique with black UTEE & Perfect Pearls
learning to make an agate by melting lots of UTEE colors together
making the mirror frame. One side with UTEE and the other with beeswax. Here we are laying strips of dictionary paper onto Wonder Tape, which we will soon emboss with UTEE and heat using a heat gun
picking out Ideaology charms and UTEE molded pieces to go on the frame
designing their own individual layouts
some closeups of the beeswax work...stamping into wax & coloring with Perfect Pearls
The 'trick' to having success is to heat the rubber stamp and press into cooled wax. This works better than trying to press into hot wax.
Margie makes a necklace...I loved this !
and then....we break for our annual Bar-B-Q dinner
it was pouring raining so we had to stay indoors. We held it in the warehouse.
The Lenster did all the grilling
Pattis' (blond rear) adorable family dropped by...my favorite little Ranger person...Payleigh Behan, and, next to Patti, Rangers' customer service gal, Jackie
so...tomorrow it's Claudines turn....she'll be fabulous...as always...and I'll stop by to see everyone again.

Thanks for sharing the pics! Love the bees wax with Perfect Pearls!

So it's 'nite nite' from you - and it's goodnight from me.
