Tomorrow The Lenster and I are off to California for my nieces wedding. I haven't even begun to pack yet or totally decide what I ought to wear.
Its been quite a hectic week....My gorgeous niece had to move the wedding up from July because 2 weeks ago she was diagnosed with an illness that will require chemo/radiation...but, she's gonna be fine...it was caught early and her prognosis is terrific because SHE is one totally terrific girl !

and then......my brother, her dad (and a doctor !!) , went to the emergency room Sunday night with what seemed like very bad indigestion (but he knew better !) and yesterday had two stents put in !!! No other warning signs.....
Is THIS what they mean when they say "When it rains, it pours" ! Oy Vey !! But...the super good news is that now he can walk her down the aisle !!

this morning I noticed that Mollie (the cat) didn't appear just right...very lethargic & refusing to come out of hiding.... so today I'm off to the vet with her !

ah...could it get any worse....well..
my manicurist quit...no one called and I'm 3 weeks into an old manicure....Poor Daniel has been arrested on "Revenge" and I'm in love with [the] Nolan Ross [character] but alas he's gay & I'm married, the judges on Idol have no backbone, I come home the day before [The Jewish Holiday of] Purim and have to learn the music while I'm away & figure out some kind of a costume to wear to the Purimshpeil.....
and various and other sundry things that make up an average day!

Yes, I think you could say that qualify for 'when it rains it pours'. Hope everything goes well with the wedding and your niece's treatment.
