a delicious sushi lunch today with Daniella Woolf, Judy and Wendy
did ya ever notice that no matter where you go you always have to have a picture taken of all of you at a table somewhere??
why is that?
It's not like I don't know what we look like !!
***********
after unch, a trip over to the Pajaro Valley Arts Center (go like them on FaceBook !!) for a show by their members... called:
Artwork in lots of different mediums
This mixed media/assemblage is called "There's Something Wrong with his Brain" by Rich O'Reilly...(I tend to believe him !!)
Next we have a really nice Acrylic Painted Book by artist Jane Gregorius
I loved this photograph called "Transitions" by Ryan McClymont
now..this one was a tad weird...
Okay..it's just downright weird...it's called "NEST"..Amanda Triplett.....and she's asking $500 for it....I can pass that one up, thank you!!
But..this was nice...(however, not for sale...)
a mixed media ceramic bust and hands with a paper mache hat with found objects by artist Judy Cooper.
Called "There Must be Some Way Out of Here", an oil, paper and photo on canvas by Judith Maxfield...I like it !
Below we have a Monotype with Chine Colle (a printmaking technique) called "Where Did My Mind Go" by Anouk Johanna. I know my friend Carmi Cimicata would approve...she's a total Napolean freak!!
Check out this sculpture called "Put Your Heart Into It" by Valerie Egland...way cool.
and I also loved..."Open Heart" a clay and felting piece by Diane R. Ritch
Called "Strength in What Remains Behind". Glass, copper, paint & paper by Carol Gaab.
and below, this interesting acrylics and modeling paste on canvas called "Sometimes it Takes a While For the Fog to Clear"
by Anastasia Torres-Gil
And, of course the wonderful piece that Judy made was also in the show
then I also liked this laminated archival ink jet print called "Scrap" by Virginia Draper
and this encaustic
Called "Trying to Stay Centered in a World of Change" by Gay Schy
I'll end todays excursion with this fun piece called "Thoughts"
It's from Andrew Manriquez...acrylic & Mixed Media.
Tomorrow...an all day class with encaustic artist Cathy Valentine..
her work (examples below) is really beautiful
and I am sooooo anxious to learn her techniques. I love the look of her work.
so...be there with me as we travel to new & exciting unknown galaxies !!
WAX....THE FINAL FRONTIER !!!

Recently, I didnt give lots of consideration to leaving comments on site page articles and have placed comments even much less. Reading via your nice posting, will assist me to do so sometimes.

Thesis writing involves several processes which makes the entirety of the experience both exciting and challenging. From choosing a researchable topic that has not been done by other students and eventually narrowing it down to become a uniquely original work to soliciting the help of a research supervisor and in embarking on data collection and writing the paper, these are some of the tasks that almost all undergraduate and graduate students working on a thesis consider as stressful. In spite of the many challenges that students have to put up with, undeniably, the thesis project is an important project-based and challenge-based educational experience that helps in building character and in preparing students for their chosen career. One particular skill that is indispensable and which perhaps is unknowingly cultivated among students as they work on a thesis is the ability to work with a group of superiors.

Charcoal painting is one of the best type painting to used. It is more often to used by painters because of its fine color.

Again a fun column!
We take pics to record events in our lives. Very important for posterity. They validate our travels through life. Does that make sense?
