every year the groovy town of Ocean Grove (NJ) holds its end of season craft show the Saturday right before Labor Day
Lots and lots of vendors and, of course, my friend Michelle always has her booth there
I've talked about Ocean Grove many times before. Thats where we went a few weeks ago to see Neil Sedaka...remember?
What began in 1869 as a Victorian-era camp meeting site has become one of the Jersey Shore's finest year-round seaside resorts. Known as "The Jewel of the Jersey Shore," Ocean Grove has the highest concentration of authentic Victorian architecture in the country.
yup..it's way cool there. And so were some of the goodies I found at todays show (but did NOT buy !!)

Yup...it was another glorious day at the Jersey shore

What a super trip Suze. It was lovely to see that Scotland got a wee mention too. The pictures are fantastic and the synagogue looks so beautiful, its the first time I hav seen inside one too. Enjoy a day of R & R before taking off again. Hugs from a Sunny Scotland. Rita xx

I need to remember this so I can go next year. My family spent many summers in Ocean Grove - do they still make you drive your car out of town on Saturday night? And the BIG church with the fabulous organ? (That was my Dad's favorite part.) Looks like you had an amazing day - maybe I'll see you there next year... :)
