the floor of the synagogue is made of sand.�There are two theories behind this unusual occurrence. One is to represent the�Israelite�journey through the desert. Another theory is that it represents the�Conversos�who were forced to convert to�Catholicism. Many continued to observe Judaism, so they usually met in their cellars and would use sand to muffle their prayers.

cruises are so much fun!! I saw a "glue" melting pot on this blog and wondered if the melting pot you use would also melt glue sticks and work in this application?
