Yup.......it's all about sharing.
I try to share my money with my local bird food store.
Then I sit quietly in the backyard and wait for those beautiful birdies to come and eat the food I bought for them. Oh, sometimes it's the squirrels and chipmunks...but it's fine with me cause they need to eat too. I feel like I'm replenishing the feeders daily cause now we're getting a LOT of feathered friends.
This is one that I saw today. Woodpecker?
Now, here I was thinking that I was the only cute redhead !
then he was joined by a little friend
and, since you already met Sterling (the 17 year old fluffball) the other day now you should also meet Mollie, our 7 year old overweight, neurotic rescue that is so happy she got US as parents. She and Sterling....not such great camaraderie.
On the creative front...
I bought this pendant at the ETSY show a few weeks back.
Seems that acrylic beads are making a big presence this year. I've seen them in lots of boutique shops and magazines....so today I made a necklace with some of the acrylic beads I'd bought recently and added the pendant as the focal point.
By using those lobster clays to attach the pendant I can actually change out the centerpiece whenever I feel like it....I gave myself a star for that one !
I'm still excited over the Alumachips...I have alcohol inked them just to have them ready for something in the future.
and I stamped some as well with Rangers Black Pigment Ink & heat set them.
and, while I had out the inks I patted some on to some clear acrylic beads...
not the whole bead, just a portion....now I can't wait to make something to wear to see how the light reflects on these. Well...tomorrow's another day. They probably need a little drying time anyway.

You are still the CUTEST redhead! I love the Alumachips - killer packaging coming right up! HUGS to ya oh wonderous photographer! I love the fact that you take time to see things like this.

Love your comment about "cute red head". Never seen a woodpecker in real life - lucky you! I love feeding my birds but wish the pesky squirrels didn't eat all the bird food on our bird table - but do admit they are cute too.
Thanks for a wonderful blog - cheers me up no end on dismal days.
