Well...pretty darn fabulous if you ask me !
The grand & glorious Margot Potter...the Impatient Crafter - (yes...of course she made those earrings !)
taught a room full of happy ladies how to make her "The Eyes Have It" necklace (seen above ) using Ranger products and Beadalon accessories.
We began by going through piles of magazines to find images we wanted to use. But, certainly you can do the same thing by stamping your papers or using photocopies of favorite imagery. Margot is fascinated by paper jewelry and now I can see why.Margot had us punching, gluing and sanding. The images were attached to Grungepaper.
we used silver Ranger Dabbers around the edges
Then we made holes using the Crop-A- Dile. Now there's a handy tool if ever there was one.
and then, of course, we began affixing our pieces using jump rings.
and what great results
Margot sold & autographed her most recent book, BEYOND THE BEAD
and then we had a surprise visit from our good friend Kecia Frazee Deveney who dropped in to say Hi.
after Margot's class ended and we stuffed ourselves with pizza lunch I did a class using encaustic waxes.
So...tune in tomorrow for a glimpse into THAT adventure and see our transfers & experiments. Here's a little taste.
They look fantastic especially the eyes and I love the fact that they're out of grungeboard. What a clever lady she is.

Did you punch the grungeboard circles out with the same punch you used for teh papers?

I love them. Did you put anything over the paper to stop it being damaged? The older lady looks a real character. Looking forward to tomorrows blog thanks Suze.
