Now, here's what I've observed...
24 snowflakes and the whole of England shuts down. Last night they closed Birmingham airport. These people do NOT know what snow is....WE GET SNOW !!! They get dustings.
Before leaving Manchester...a visit to POSH U...even the name suggests luxury. They are a very high end luxury shoe and handbag shop. Actually, I am not into shoes...but I am into handbags and I am most definitely into jewelry.
Debbie drove me to the shop. I found a gorgeous black all leather -ON SALE- handbag by Paul Smith.
I was hoping for a Lulu Guinnes bag I'd seen on one of my students, in purple, but alas...they only had it in red. So..I'm going to search online...altho now I'm kicking myself that I didn't get the red !!!
then, we zipped over to 'Precious'...OH DEAR
have credit card...will enter blingy jewelry and accessory store...
Debbie bought this blingy ring
I believe in supporting the economy !
then....on to Birmingham to meet up with Tim, Mario, Alain, Dyan and Claudine
on the way we passed signs for Stoke-On-Trent where my father came from..very cool...(yes..I have been there before)
and then....a great friends dinner
tomorrow...the BIG class for the store owners
STAY TUNED
Thank you once again for sparing your precious time to keep us updated, taking photos, and being such fun. I'd love to go shopping with you - you are a joy!
I know what you mean about some airports - and the 'snow' but we do get it deep - truly LOL
Have a great time, as I sure you will - you always do.
You are a great role model - packing as much as you can into each minute of each day.

hi Suze, thanks for a great workshop in Birmingham. I really enjoyed the class and loved the idea of using the memory frames in the mould 'n' pour. I can appreciate how much thought and prep went into a team teaching class of that size, so want you to know that it's much appreciated and the techniques we learned will be equally appreciated by our customers.
Enjoy the Klimt stamps!

I admire a woman who likes substantial jewelry! Good choices.

Loving all that wonderful bling & the ring Debbie bought is fabulous. The scarf looks very lush & like a lot of work has gone into it. The piece on the right of the bracelet with the delicate filigree work looks very dainty.....
Great to see you enjoying a good shop & taking back memories from your visit. Hope you enjoyed meeting up with everyone. What an amazing meal to be at, Dyan looks very well today. The combined minds of some of our craft designers & creators all under one roof, now that is awesome.....
Have a good sleep & a great day tomorrow :-) Paula

Hi Suze -
Glad to see you are supporting the economy, regardless of which side of the Atlantic you're on! You're not missing much here in the North East, getting really cold and more talk of another snowstorm on Monday evening into Tuesday. I think you'll agree that the shopping is much more fun - LOL! Enjoy yourself, eat, DRINK and be merry!!!

Love what you bought.. very "you". I agree that you could have made some of that bling yourself. Have a great show, I'm looking forward to Sunday.

Yes we are terrible in the snow, no grit or diggers, we are just not used to it, sorry Suze. Love the things you bought. I bet the first rings you showed you could make something similar, they look like they could be made in Utee, maybe the designer has been watching you! Sorry about the early start, enjoy your breakfast and your day x
