a really fun family !

any trip to visit my friend Wendy is classified as fabulous in MY book !

This is the 3rd Christmas I've spent at Wendys magnificent house in Aptos, CA.

and it's always fun....laughing....some type of cooking (Wendy and Lenny share their love of the kitchen!!)

in the afternoon we headed on over to Wendys' younger brothers house for belated family Thanksgiving...with the table set for twenty

and since I  come out to visit Wendy so often they all feel exactly like my own family so, this was very special.

Wendy played an hysterical trick on her brother Kelly....

it looks like a roaster pan...and it is...but..it didn't contain what you'd expect...

yes...a BLOW UP TURKEY !!!

it was beyond funny...!!!!

especially when we passed it off as real !!

LOL...LOL !!

 

the turkey was a big hit !!!

and so were the veggies, stuffing, mashed potatoes, you name it !

the salad (thank you Joe !!)

and then...before you could say "Pass the pie"...it was over !!!

I'm trying to imagine what excitement is in store for tomorrow !
