It certainly wasn't a "Dead" day !

I have been to The Pajaro Valley Arts Council many times when I'm out visiting my waxy girlfriends in Aptos, CA. The gallery never fails to have the most terrific installations, always done by local artists. This time....no different....a fantastic 'Day of the Dead'

all different community groups and classrooms created the vibrant & emotional displays. 

it was really such an exceptional show.

Tomorrow I'll take you on a magical tour of mixed media artist Jody Alexander's installation at Cabrillo College.

Here's just a taste of an artist who works in cotton batting, fibers, thread, steel wool and other very unconventional materials
