On Wednesday the Lenster and I bussed into Manhattan with a large group from our development. We had tickets...great seats...to see Jersey Boys...which most people can't even believe we hadn't seen until now !
I'm still singing "Big Girls Dont Cry"
NYC is always bustling
it also happened to be the same day that the tree was delivered to Rockefeller Center. 22,000 pounds from Flanders, NJ.
and if you stood behind the barrier you could stay to watch them hoist it up wth giant cranes
I could have sworn I even spotted Santa in the crowd...LOL!
I posted a short little video on You Tube
it's so strange to see the skating rink empty...but soon the tree will be all decorated and the rink will open and the crowds will pour in.
The weather was beautiful so the Lenster and I walked up to 59th and 5th to the iconic Apple store
always mobbed with people who, like me, can't get enough of the cool stuff Apple sells !
and, on the way back, a stop in the amazing Anthropologie. Their display, using all books, was mind boggling.
this frame is made from cardboard.
****************
Tomorrow will be another tour of NYC...my trip to the Waldorf Astoria Hotel
In the meantime...make a brief stop over to ETSY
there's a couple of new things...
I was at Rockefeller Center and Anthropologie just a day or so after you, and I blogged about it too! The windows at A were just being finished, and the scaffolding was up around the tree. Take a look if you're interested.

Great photos! I haven't seen Jersey Boys either {hanging my head in shame}. Thanks for the photos of that tree...incredible to see the before pictures...which of course there MUST be AFTER photos!

Wow! Wonderful pics! Thanks for sharing! Saw the Jersey Boys twice and I would definitely go again! Got to see Frankie Valli live this past summer. It was awesome!
