I always love a good day of jewelry making with newbies.
You've often heard me talk about one of the groups I belong to, the Brandeis Womens Club. Brandeis does so much good work supporting medical research and my local chapter holds some terrific workshops in a huge variety of subjects.
Today was my day...I'm sort of their "craft expert" !
We used beads from Jesse James beads, Artistic Wire, Bezels from Nunn Design, Collage images from Piddix, the 3.0 LOOPER tool from Beadsmith, tools from Vintaj and Ice Resin. ALL OF MY VERY FAVORITES, of course !
None of these ladies are 'beaders'...this was all new for them and they all did great!
I love when they refer to jump rings as those "little round thingies"
Their bezels were set to the side to begin the hardening process. They took them home on paper plates and will finish attaching them tomorrow.
They were given both goldtone and silvertone bezels to choose from and beads in the appropriate color scheme. Every ones was different.
then I showed them other ways to use Ice Resin in larger bezels.
I'm doing another class on Thursday with some more of the Brandeis ladies....I'm confident I've indoctrinated a few into the world of jewelry making !
