do you like to incorporate....incorporate...incorporate....all kinds of jewelry chain and vintge components into your design work...be it jewelry making, scrapbooking, mixed media art Well...do I have THE PLACE FOR YOU. One of MY personal favorite haunts in New York City.
CJS SUPPLY WAREHOUSE
16 West 36th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues) on the 2nd floor of the building

This is a 5,000 square foot warehouse that will just blow your mind away.....vintage closeout craft and jewelry supplies: rhinestones, cameos, beads, stones, findings, filigree, wood, plastic beads/parts (Lucite/Bakelite), chain, Swarovski, etc. They even currently have vintage nailhead beads.
COME WITH A SUITCASE ON WHEELS (or, for a fee, they'll ship) and your WHOLESALE/RESALE LICENSE (no retail sales) and be prepared to dig, climb, push and shove your way through isles and rooms full of boxes...more boxes, and yet more boxes of items to repurpose. Check out the "chain room" below....OMGawd!!
Just as soon as the elevator arrives at the 2nd floor and the doors open...there you are...in a mass of boxes all waiting for you to dig in. BRING PATIENCE & YOUR IMAGINATION!
Recently, CJS acquired a huge batch of new stuff from manufacturers and stores that have gone out of business. Now, as we speak, they are having a big sale to try and help clear the floors for you.
They're actually calling it their "CJS Needs Room to Walk" sale.
There are boxes upon boxes of crystals, all sizes, all colors, all kinds...you will flip !
